Skunked

This is Zoey.

I took this picture of her when I lived at my parents', over six years ago.  She doesn't look much different today, although her hunting skills are showing her age.  Over the past month she has gotten beat-up by a few squirrels, and tonight she got into it with a skunk and it looks like (scratches on her face) and SMELLS LIKE the skunk won.  Poor Zoey! Poor Us! You need to retire from the hunt, girlfriend!

I have it on good authority that the best way to cleanse a dog of skunk gunk is a concoction of baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, and dish soap. Baking soda to the rescue again!!!
