My parents got the kids a Nativity kit called "What God Wants For Christmas."
Each day the week before Christmas, they can open a gift and find another kid-friendly figurine for the Nativity.
(We broke into it early this year!)
On the 7th day, you find the answer to the question "What does God want for Christmas?"
There is a mirror inside the box so the child sees himself.
God wants YOU for Christmas!
