Sewing Cards

Here's a winter bordum-buster for tiny hands!

I've been wanting to buy some sewing cards to entertain JP and help him with a little eye-hand coordination.  Yesterday, as I was about to toss some of the kids old filled-out coloring books, it occurred to me that I could cut out the pictures on the front, punch holes around the picture, and have an instant sewing card.  We used some shoe-laces purchased from Michael's for about a dollar as the needle and thread.  Maybe you can see from the photo that one of the holes tore open, so I might go back and put those hole-punch reinforcements on the back or contact-paper the whole thing to make it more durable!
